Tylene Di Sciullo, of Counsel
Ms.
Di Sciullo is an experienced litigator with a strong background in
commercial, personal injury, HMO liability litigation and family law.
Ms. Di Sciullo receives great satisfaction from helping others, and
guiding and advising her clients through the legal process. She played
a critical role in two cases argued before the United States Supreme
Court - Aetna Health, Inc. v. Davila; Cigna Healthcare of
Texas, Inc. v. Calad; and has authored Amicus Curiae brief to the Texas
Supreme Court.
She began her law career later in life after attending Texas Wesleyan School of Law during the evening and working full time during the day. After completing her first year of law school, she knew that she was doing what she was meant to do in life. She graduated cum laude and was an Associate Editor of the Texas Wesleyan Law Review and President of the Moot Court Honor Society. While working and attending night school, she competed in numerous Moot Court Competitions and received numerous honors including top speaker awards. She also has a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington. Prior to becoming a lawyer, she worked in insurance, pharmacy and healthcare industries.
Her primary areas of practice include General Commercial Litigation, Personal Injury Litigation, Estate planning and probate, guardianship and family law. She also authored and teaches a course entitled “Risk Management and Tort Liability” for the State of Texas. She contributed, with acknowledgement, to publications entitled “The Federal Courthouse Door” and “Piercing the Corporate Veil and Alter Ego.”
Ms. Di Sciullo is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Tarrant County Bar Association (Chairman, Law School Liaison Committee, 1999-2000; Member of Habitat for Humanity Committee, 2005-present), Arlington Bar Association, Eldon B. Mahon American Inn of Court (1999, 2001-2003), College of the State Bar of Texas (2005-present), Order of Barristers, and the Texas Wesleyan School of Law Alumni Board of Directors. She is admitted to practice in all State Courts, the United States District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Texas, and the United States Supreme Court.
Ms. Di Sciullo enjoys playing tennis on two teams and is an avid dancer who enjoys swing, country western and ballroom dances. She is a member of two dance teams, Boots With Attitude and the Texas BootScooters, who share their love for dancing by performing at charity and community events and competing on the country western dance circuits. Whether performing on the dance floor or in the courtroom, Ms. Di Sciullo knows the steps, and she takes them with grace and style.
